SOLNYSHKO, is a studio theatre of the Sterlitamak city Palace of Culture. Founded in 1978 as a choreographic ensemble. Since 2006 – the current status. In 1993, received “the Exemplary” title and since 2014 — Merited Folk Collective of the Russian Federation. The S.’s repertoire includes the ballets Chipollino by K.S.Khachaturyan, Malchish‑Kibalchish (music by D.Shostakovich); musicals Mum, The Nutcracker, etc; Bashk., Tat., Russian and other folk dances. Toured Russia, Turkey and Ukraine. Laureate of the Crystal Magnolia international competition in Sochi in 2007, Dance, Volga Region! folk dance competition in Penza in 2008, Wind Rose national competition in Moscow in 2001, Europe+Asia competition in 2003 (Grand Prix), Rhythms of Time of the Great Urals RB competition in Neftekamsk in 2006 (Grand Prix); a winner of the Utrennyaya Zvezda TV competition in Moscow in 2002, etc.
