STARIKOV, Alexey Markovich

STARIKOV, Alexey Markovich (30.3. 1909, Barnaul – 17.3.1984, Ufa), Industrialist. Hero of Socialist Labour (1966). Merited Construction Worker of the RSFSR (1965). Awarded with the Order of Lenin (1948, 1958, 1966) and the Order of the Red Banner of Labor (1944, 1957). Since 1945, hewasthe Managerofthe Bashneftezavodstroy Trust, between 1971–84 at the UNI (until 1978 as Vice‑Rector for Construction). Under the leadership of S., the workshops and installations were built at 3 refineries in Ufa and Ishimbay, at Ufa Chemical Plant, Ufa Electric Lamp Plant, Ufa Textile Fiberglass Plant, as well as social cultural facilities. Deputy of the 7th Session of the Supreme Council of the BASSR.
