GLASS THERMALLY POLISHED

GLASS THERMALLY POLISHED, sheeting. The production of G.t.p. in Bashkortostan was mastered in 1969 at the Salavat Industrial Glass Plant by method of thermal molding on the molten metal (float method). G.t.p. is characterized by a uniform thickness, high surface quality, and low optical distortion. The quality is verified by the limit deviations of the dimensions: the length and width, flatness, the difference of the lengths of the diagonals, the straightness of the edges and rectangularity of the sheet corners, by the coefficient of the directional transmission of light, the residual internal stress rate. The RB is the leader in G.t.p. production (27.9%) in the RF (2017).
