TARASENKO, Nikolay Evdokimovich [9.5.1908, Selo Kalinovka of Belebeyevsky Uyezd of Ufa Gub. (Davlekanovsky Raion of the RB) – 20.7.1974, Davlekanovo], Industrialist. Hero of Socialist Labour (1948). Merited Agricultural Machinery Operator of the BASSR (1967). Awarded with the Order of Lenin (1948). Since 1934, he worked at the Davlekanovo Mechanical Plant (between 1954–68 as Dir.). In 1947, the yield of rye at the kolkhozes, serviced by T., increased to 21,300 kg, tractor production capacity – to 869 ha (average for the Republic – 482 ha).
