TELYASHEV, Elshad Gumerovich (b.21.11.1956 in Ufa), Engineer-Technologist. Associate Member of the AS RB (2009), D. Sci. (Engineering Sciences) (1992), Full Professor (2008). Merited Master of Sciences of the RF (2014) and the RB (2006), Merited Worker of Petrochemical Industry of the RF (2001). After graduating from the UPI (1979) continued his career there. Since 1993 in the Institute of Petroleum Refining and Petrochemistry Problems (between 1997–2018 as Dir.), simultaneously, since 1996 in USPTU, till 2000 – BSU; since 1997 Head of Interuniversity (BSU, USPTU) Research Lab of the AS RB, until 2004 Dir. of Ufimsky Pilot Low-Tonnage Petrochemical Plant, until 2006 – NPO Neftekhimpererabotka (Ufa); since 2003 in USATU. Scientific research is dedicated to the search and optimization of technologies for deep waste-free petroleum processing, recycling of wastes from refineries and petrochemical enterprises, the creation of polyfunctional process lubricants. The plants of coke calcination (introduced at OOO LUKOIL-Volgogradneftepererabotka), tar deasphalting and sulfur production (OAO Ufaneftekhim) and bitumen (OAO Salavatnefteorgsintez), petroleum refining from hydrogen sulfide (OOO Naryanmarneftegaz) were developed under the leadership of T.
