TEREGULOV, Geniatulla Nigmatullovich (31.5.1891, Derevnya Novye Kargaly of Belebeyevsky Uyezd of Ufa Gub., now Selo Verkhniye Kargaly of Blagovarsky Raion of the RB, – 4.3.1984, Ufa), Therapist. Dr.Sci (Medical Sciences) (1941), Full Professor (1941). Merited Master of Sciences of the BASSR (1944), Merited Doctor of the RSFSR (1957), Excellent Worker of Public Health of the USSR (1945). Awarded with the Order of Lenin (1953), Order of the Red Banner of Labour (1949), Order of the Badge of Honour (1944). Graduated from the Ufa Pedagogical Institute (1918) and Moscow University (1927). Between 1932–72 he worked in BSMI, simultaneously, was a research advisor for Yangan-Tau Health Resort, between 1943–50 Head Therapist of the Ministry of Health of the BASSR. His scientific research is dedicated to health resort studies, etiology, treatment and prevention of hypertensive heart disease, ischemic heart disease, occupational diseases of workers of oil and oil processing in dustries.
