PROCESS AND INDUSTRIAL MANAGEMENT INSTITUTE, AO. Located in Ufa. Established in 1958. Since 2007 incorporated into FGUP Salut Gas Turbine Research and Production Centre (Moscow). Main activities: research and development of processes and systems for automated control of gas turbine engine (GTE) parameters during tests; development and manufacture of diamond polishing tools, process and tools for final machining of brush sealants; development and manufacture of equipment and uninterrupted power supply systems, etc. Specialists of the Institute have completed more than 2 thousand developments, created more than 700 processes and designed more than 600 equipment models. They have developed GTE blades cutting and polishing machines, including multi-axis CNC machines; a GTE blade workpiece die-rolling and isothermal forging mill, designed and manufactured more than 1.7 thousand units of equipment, static thyristor power sources, implemented at packaged equipment producing plants, gas pumping stations, etc. 1015 invention patents have been obtained.
