STERLITAMAK PETROCHEMICAL PLANT

STERLITAMAK PETROCHEMICAL PLANT, OAO. Produces synthetic rubbers, phenolic antioxidants (10 varieties of agidols), high-octane additives (methyltret- butyl ethers), hardeners, stabilizers for tire industry, gasolines and other products. The only producer of phenolic antioxidants in the RF. It was put into operation in 1963 as a pilot production as part of Sterlitamak Synthetic Rubber Plant, since 1966 Sterlitamak Experimental-Industrial Plant for Production of Isoprene Rubber, since 1975 Experimental-Industrial Petrochemical Plant, since 1991 has its current name. Since 2011, the company has been managed by OOO TAU NefteKhim Management Company. The company’ products received the USSR State Award (1978, 1989), USSR Council of Ministers Award (1974), Leninist Komsomol Award (1977).
