STOLYAROV, Evgeny Vasilyevich

STOLYAROV, Evgeny Vasilyevich (22.2. 1922, Bugulma — 21.3.1985, Ufa), Industrialist. Hero of Socialist Labour (1981). Merited Oil Producer of the BASSR (1972), Merited Oil Producer of the USSR (1979). Awarded with the Order of Lenin (1976, 1981), Order of the Red Banner of Labour (1959, 1971), Order of the Red Star (1944, 1945), Order of the Badge of Honour (1966), the the 3rd Class Order of Glory (1944). Participant in the Great Patriotic War. After graduation from the UPI (1952), he worked at Bashvostoknefterazvedka Trust (Birsk): Head of the Kultyubinskoye Drilling Office, since 1955 he worked at the Kaltasinsky Drilling Office (since 1956 as Dir.). Since 1964 – Head of NPU Ufaneft, since 1970 – at Bashneft Production Association (since 1972 as Gen. Dir.). He is one of the discoverers of Arlanskoye and Krasnokholmskoye oil fields. Under the leadership of S., 38 new fields and areas, as well as 3,715 wells were constructed and commissioned.
