STRELAYEVA, Lidiya Nikolayevna (7.4. 1902, Selo Kiziar of Melitopolsky Uyezd of Tauric Gubernia — 29.6.1987, Selo Kushnarenkovo of Kushnarenkovsky Raion of the BASSR), Breeder. Merited Agronomist of the BASSR (1982). Laureate of the USSR State Award (1951). Between 1920— 23, she studied at the Crimean University named after M.V.Frunze (Simferopol). Since 1935, she worked at the Bashkir Fruit and Berry Experimental Station, since 1956 – at Bashkir RI Institute for Agriculture and Plant Breeding.
