TUGANLYK

TUGANLYK (Kinship), International Festival of Turkic-speaking Theaters. Held since 1991 in Ufa in order to preserve and strengthen the creative ties and mutual enrichment of the theatrical cultures of the Turkic-speaking peoples of the republics of the Russian Federation and foreign countries, to promote further development of theoretical thought in the field of Turkic-speaking theatrical culture, etc. The following festivals were held in 1996, 2000, 2006, 2012 and 2017. Within the framework of T., the key (competitive) and additional (non-competitive) programs are implemented, scientific and practical conferences, master classes and other events are held. Awards are assigned for the key (Best Performance, Best Director, Best Scenography, Best Music Design, Best Actor, Best Actress) and incentive (Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Plastic Solution of the Performance, Best Cast, Audience Award, etc) nominations. The national theaters of Bashkortostan, Azerbaijan, Altai, Dagestan, KabardinoBalkaria, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Crimea, Tatarstan, Tuva, Turkey, Khakassia, Chuvashia, etc took part in T. in different years.
