SULEYMANOV, Renart Vafich (b.27.7. 1937 in Ufa), Athlete, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences. Merited Sports Master of the USSR (1970), Merited Coach of Russia (1984), International Field Shooting Coach (1976). Distinguished Athlete of the RB (1994). A trainee of the Dynamo Sports Society (Coach – A.A.Mironenko), between 1966–72 he competed for the Central Sports Club of the Army. Bronze Medalist of the Olympic Games (1968), the World Champion (1970), Silver Medalist of the European Championship (1969), Bronze Medalist of the World Singles Championship (1966). The World (1962, 1966) and European Champion (1959, 1963, 1969), Silver (1966, 1970) and Bronze (1966) Medalist of the World Team Championships. Member of the USSR National Team (1959–72). Since 1978, he has been the chief Coach of the USSR National Team, between 1992–99 he was a Coach of the National Teams of Egypt, the Philippines and Qatar. In 2003– 15, he was the Chief Coach of the Russian National Pistolry Team.
