SUNYAEV, Zagidulla Iskhakovich (10.12. 1929, Derevnya Tatar Velyazma of Mordovia National Okrug of the Middle Volga Kray — 7.1.2001, Moscow), Chemical Technologist. Merited Acad. of the AS RB (1991), D.Sci. (Engineering Sciences) (1970), Full Professor (1970). Merited Master of Science and Technology of the RSFSR (1974) and BASSR (1967), Merited Worker of Petroleum and Petrochemical Industry of the USSR (1967), Merited Petrochemist of the USSR (1984). Awarded with the Order of the Red Banner of Labour (1971). After graduating from the Moscow Gubkin Petroleum Institute (1953) worked at Novo-Ufimsky Refinery, since 1958 — in BashNIINP. Since 1962 — in UPI (since 1970 as Rector), between 1976—99 — in the Gubkin State Academy of Oil and Gas (Moscow). Scientific research is dedicated to the physical chemistry of oil disperse systems. S. introduced the concept of “extreme state of the oil system” and developed the principles for intensifying the processes of producing petroleum coke for various purposes, oil pitches, onboard fuels, preventive tools based on distillate and residual oil fractions against sticking and freezing of bulk materials, etc.
