UZYANSKOYE RESERVOIR
UZYANSKOYE RESERVOIR, on the Uzyan River (basin of the Belaya River). The dam site is located 47.8 km from its mouth near Selo Uzyan of Beloretsky Raion. Built in the 2nd half of the 18th century for water supply of the Uzyan Plant. Built in 1985, revamped in 1998. Catchment area of the river in the cross‑section of the water development — 353.0 km2, aver. annual volume of inflow — 861.0 million m3, full volume — 4.0 million m3; surface area — 0.9 km2, length — 2.3 km, aver. width — 0.4 km, aver. depth — 4.4 m. Composition of the water development: blind, earth‑fill dam (length — 284 m, crest width — 10 m, max. height — 14 m); water discharge facility of 3 precast concrete pipes (diam. — 2.0×2.5 m, length — 74 m) with a flood gloryhole of automatic action from prefabricated pipes (diam. — 2.5×2.0 m, height — 8.6 m, length — 19.5 m, width — 5.0 m); bottom tubular water discharge from steel pipe (diam. — 1.0 m, length — 112.5 m) with grating at the entrance; Hydroelectric Power Station of 75 kW/h capacity.
