URAZMETOV, Akhat Salikhovich

URAZMETOV, Akhat Salikhovich (9.12.1931, Selo Kalmashevo of Chishminsky Raion of the BASSR — 2.7.2015, Ufa, buried in his homeland), Variety Artist. People’s Artist of the BASSR (1977), Merited Artist of the RSFSR (1983) and BASSR (1967). After graduating from the Bashk. Theatre Art School (1951), he worked as a variety artist, between 1952—99 — in Reel and Pillar duet of Bashk. Philharmonia. He performed under the pseudonym of Katuk. A master of humor and satire. In his repertoire, there are more than 100 roles in scenes and sketches on hot topics, as well as satirical dance miniatures.
