LIVING STANDARDS
LIVING STANDARDS, a comprehensive indicator, characterizing the degree of satisfaction of physical, spiritual, and material needs of the social groups or population of a certain country or a region. It is determined by income, the total volume of consumed material goods and services per capita (including housing conditions, health and education indices, etc). In Bashkortostan, there is a steady trend to the reduction of the poverty level and enhancement of the social and economic differentiation of the population. In 2016, the share of population with income below the subsistence minimum in the RB was 12.4 (in RF – 13.4), real disposable income reduced by 4.4% (in Russia – 5.9). In 2017, the balance ratio between the average salary of 10% of the employees with the highest salary and 10% of the employees with the lowest salary was 10.4 (in Russia – 14.1).
