UFAORGSINTEZ, PAO. Produces petrochemical products from petroleum refining associated gases, thus obtaining polypropylene, polyethylene of different grades, phenol, acetone, α‑methylstyrene, diphenyl propane, etc. It was put into operation in 1956 as Ufa Plant of Synthetic Alcohol, since 1994 AOOT with its current name, since 2015 has its current status. High pressure polyethylene was received by the company for the first time in the USSR, as well as butyl alcohol by recycling synthetic ethyl alcohol; the production of ethylene‑propylene rubber and isopropylbenzene was introduced, by means of its catalytic dehydrogenation – α‑methylstyrene and by means of oxidation – phenol and acetone were jointly received; the production of polypropylene was started in the RB for the first time. Awarded with the Order of the Red Banner of Labour (1966).
