UFA FEDERAL RESEARCH CENTRE

UFA FEDERAL RESEARCH CENTRE of the RAS. Established in 1951. It comprises the Biology Institute, the Biochemistry and Genetics Institute, the Botanic Garden Institute, the Geology Institute, the History, Language and Literature Institute, Institute of Mathematics with a Computer Centre, the Mavlyutov Institute of Mechanics, the Petrochemistry and Catalysis Institute, the Institute of Chemistry, the Agricultural Research Institute, the Institute for Social and Economic Research, the Molecule and Crystal Physics Institute and the Kuzeyev Institute for Ethnological Studies. It has the Scientific Library of UFRC of RAS, a scientific archive and an outpatient clinic. More than 50 scientific developments are submitted for rooting into production and more than 100 patents are filed every year. The centre publishes The News of the Ufa Research Centre of RAS journal.
