FARMSTANDART–UFAVITA

FARMSTANDART–UFAVITA, OAO, a largest enterprise for manufacturing of pharmaceurtical products in the RF (more than 140 names of medications of various pharmacotherapeutical groups and biologically active additives). Located in Ufa. It was founded in 1916 as an enterprise for the release of pastry, in 1941 it was reorganized into the Ufa Vitamin Factory (based on the equipment, that was evacuated from the vitamin factories in Moscow, Leningrad, Krasnodar); since 2003 it is a part of OAO Farmstandart (Dolgoprudny). Consists of 5 industrial workshops and 19 industrial lines. It releases non-sterile preparation in solid form (tablets, pills, capsules), sterile medicinal drugs in liquid and lyophilized forms (in ampules, flasks, cartridges, syringes). The production of genetically engineered human insulin by Bioinsulin brand, Rastan growth hormone, Valcade cytostatic drug and others has been implemented at the enterprise. In 2018, there were about 1,700 employees.
