FAKHREYEV, Gabdelkhai (Hai) Gimadiyevich (4.9.1929, Derevnya UrshakBash-Yamgurchi of the Sterlitamaksky Сanton of the BASSR, now Selo Yangurcha of Sterlibashevsky Raion of the RB, — 31.8.1991, Ufa), Actor. People's Artist of the RF (1991) and BASSR (1974), Merited Artist of the RSFSR (1979) and BASSR (1968). Graduated from the Bashk. Theatre Art School (1950). Since 1951, he worked as an actor at the Salavat Drama Theatre, since 1970 — at BSAT.

He was an actor of bright temperament and expression. His expressive speech, mimics, plasticity and bold character contributed to psychologically deep disclosure of images. Awarded with the Order of the Red Banner of Labour (1976).
