FOMICHYOV, Konstantin Nikolayevich (b.30.8.1977 in Ufa), Athlete. Merited Master of Sports (Kayak and Canoe) of Russia (2000). Distinguished Athlete of the RB (1997). A trainee of the Specialist Children and Youth Sports Kayak and Canoe School of the Olympic Reserve (Coaches: N.A. and N.А.Popovs). The World Champion (4-times, 1999) and European Champion (4-times, 1999, 2001), Winner of the World Cups (1998; 3-times, 1999; 2-times, 2002), the Silver (1997–98, 2002) and Bronze (1998, 2001) World Championships Medalist, multiple Silver and Bronze Medalist of the European Championships. The 1995 World Champion for junior men. Participant of the Olympic Games (2004). Member of the Russian National Team (1995–2009).
