KHAMITOV, Eduard Shaykhullovich (b.22.9.1937 in Selo Novokizganovo of Burayevsky Raion of the BASSR), Teacher. Merited Acad. of the AS RB (1998), Dr. Sci. (Pedagogics) (2000), Full Professor (1991). Merited Worker of the Russian Higher Education (1998), Merited Master of Sciences of the BASSR (1977). Awarded with the Order of Peoples’ Friendship (1981), Order for Merits to the Republic of Bashkortostan (2003), Order of Salavat Yulayev (2017). After graduation from the Birsky Ped. Institute (1958), he worked there. Since 1961, he taught at Kuibyshev Ped. Institute (since August 1966, Dean at Department of Physics and Mathematics), since October 1966 – at the UPI. Since 1968, at the BSPU: since 1970 Dean at Department of Physics and Mathematics, since 1972 Vice‑Rector for Academic Studies, since 1983 Rector, since 2007 Rector’s Advisor. Between 2005–07, Deputy of the State Duma of the RF. Scientific research is dedicated to the problems of higher education, and theory and practice of professional education. Deputy of the 12th Session of the Supreme Council of the RB.
