FYODOROVSKIY, a zoological wildlife reserve of area 1.7 thous. ha in the territory of Fyodorovsky Raion. It was organized to restore the populations of game animals and rare animal species (1989). The relief is plains and gently rolling country. Mixed broadleaf forests are widely spread, aspen forests are common in woodfelling clearings. It is inhabited by badger, European beaver, Arctic hare, boar, roe deer, common marten, lynx, etc. There are also eared hedgehog, great jerboa, gray partridge, apollo butterfly, European swallowtail, etc, included in The Red List of the RB.
