KHAZINSKAYA CAVE, Tirmyantash, a natural monument (1965). Located on the right bank of the Khazhinovskaya Shida River (tributary of the Seleuk River) in Tirmyantau Mountain, east of Derevnya Khazinovo of Ishimbaysky Raion. It represents a 3‑tier system of inclined and horizontal passages. Length 214 m, depth 2 m, area 373 m2, volume 1,034 m3. A tunnel‑shaped passage runs from the arched entrance, the expansion of the passage forms the grottos of Expectation and Disappointment. The corridor, running from the Grotto of Disappointment in the NE, forms an expansion with karst depressions, filled with water. In the western wall of the cave there is Kelya Grotto. At the far end there is a passage, whose walls are covered with calcite, there are dry rimstone pools on the floor; there is a narrow passage in the SW. The ceiling is vaulted and dripping. The floor is covered with clay and with limestone fragments. The summer temperature is 8°С. A bear tooth was found in Kh.C. The cave was first explored by I.I.Lepyokhin (1770).
