KHASANOVA, Zilara Mullayanovna (b.5.12.1935, Derevnya Novomuslyumovo of Mechetlinsky Raion of the BASSR), Plant Physiologist. Associate Member of the AS RB (1995), Dr.Nat.Sci. (Biological Sciences) (1992), Full Professor (1993). Merited Master of Sciences of the RB (1997), Outstanding Worker of People’s Education of the RB (1995), Merited Worker of Higher Professional Education of the RF (2006). Since 1960, she worked in Bashkir Obl. Committee of All‑Union Leninist Young Communists League, since 1972 – in the BSAU. Since 1973, in the BSPU (Dean of Department of Natural Geographic until 1976). She researched the effect of extreme environmental factors on plants. Kh. conducted research on the influence of pre‑sowing seed processing in an electric field of corona discharge on growth, development and productivity of spring and winter wheat, etc; the effect of the electric field on the activity of endogenous plant hormones.
