KHISAMITDINOVA, Firdaus Gilmitdinovna (b.1.1.1950, Derevnya Rakhmetovo of Abzelilovsky Raion of the RB), a Linguist. Associate Member of the Academy of Sciences of the RB (2016), Doctor of Letters (1993), Full Professor (1994). Merited Scientist of the RF (2008) and the RB (2003). Awarded the Order of Peoples Friendship (2014). Graduated from BSPI (1974). Between 1978—87 and since 1998, he worked at the Institute of History, Language and Literature. Between 1987—95 – at BSPI, between 1995—98 — as the Minister of Education of the RB. Her scientific research was dedicated to the history, phonetics, lexicology, and ethno‑linguistics of the Bashkir language. A compiler of dictionaries on anthroponimics, toponyms, terminology, mythology. One of the authors and editors of the collective monograph History of the Bashkir language, Academic Dictionary of the Bashkir Language in 10 volumes (2011—...), etc. Deputy of State Assembly — Kurultay of the RB of the 1st convocation. Between 1996—98 – the Chairwoman of the Union of Women, in 1997—2003 — the Chairwoman of the Society of Bashkir Women, since 2003 — the Chairwoman of the Council of State Languages of the RB at the Government of the RB. The Chairwoman of the Council of State Languages of the RB at the Government of the RB (since 2003).
