KHISMATOV, Mukhamedyan Fazylyanovich

KHISMATOV, Mukhamedyan Fazylyanovich (10.9.1930, Selo Kirdasovo of Abzelilovsky Raion of the BASSR — 18.3.2010, Ufa), Geographer. Candidate of Geographic Sciences (1959), Full Professor (1992). Merited Master of Sciences of the BASSR (1977). Graduated from the K.A.Timiryazev Bashkir State Pedagogical Institute (1954). Since 1958, he worked at the BSU (between 1965—68 and 1981—83 — the Dean of Department of Geography), between 1985—2007 — at the BSPU. Scientific work is dedicated to the structural and spatial analysis of the economic complex of the RB, to the study of the territorial organization of the Republican industries and natural and economic foundation for their development.
