BEE BREEDING AND APITHERAPY CENTRE

BEE BREEDING AND APITHERAPY CENTRE, Bashkir state‑financed research institution. Located in Ufa. Established in 1998. The Centre is focused on the preservation, selection and reproduction of the Bashkir bee, and the investigation of bee sting therapy methods. It has identified areas with optimal conditions for Bashkir honey production and bee breeding. It has developed technologies for the production of food‑stuffs and cosmetics containing bee-keeping elements. Since 2016, the Centre’s products have been exhibited in the Bashkir Honey House (located in the premises of Akbuzat racecourse). The institution is the recipient of 25 patents.
