CHERNOVA, Viktoriya Vladimirovna (b.30.12.1981, Ufa), Athlete. Merited Master of Sports (Athletics) of Russia (2001). Distinguished Athlete of the RB (2001). Awarded with the 2nd Class Medal of Order for Merits to the Fatherland (2002). A trainee of the Youth Sports School No.20 and Looch Sports and Rehabilitation Centre for Blind Patients (Coach – I.S.Romanov). Bronze Medalist of the Paralympic Games (2000) in 800 m and 5000 m race. Silver Medalist of the World Games for Disabled Athletes (2003), Silver (1997, 2003) and Bronze (1997, 2003) Medalist of the IBSA European Games, Bronze Medalist of the IBSA World Championship (1998, 2002). Champion of the Youth Women’s World Championship (2‑times, 1997), and the Junior Girls’ Europe Championship (1994). Participant of the Paralympic Games (2004, 2006). Member of the Russian National Team (1997–2013).
