CHERNOSHARSKOYE SWAMP

CHERNOSHARSKOYE SWAMP, a natural monument (2005). It is located 3.5 km E of Selo Voznesenka of Duvansky Raion. Total area — 63 ha. It is a complex of carbonate sedge‑hypnum and reed swamps. It drains to the Chernosharka River (basin of the Ai River). The following plants, included in The Red List of the RB, grow here: swamp ledum, Cypripedium calceolus, Empetrum hermaphroditum Hagerup, Epipactis palustris, Vaccinium oxycoccos, Drosera rotundifolia and relict Schoenus ferrugineus.
