CHERTOK, Yury Vladimirovich (b.31.1.1957 in Nukus), Coach. Merited Coach (international draughts) of Russia (1998), International Master (1998), Merited Physical Culture Professional of the RB (1994). Awarded with the Order of Salavat Yulayev (2001). Graduated from the Karaganda Polytechnic Institute (1979). Since 1982 he has been working in Ishimbay, since 1999 Head of Neftyanik Draughts Club. Since 2002 in Ufa he worked as the Head and the Chief Coach of Bashneft Professional Draughts Club. Chief Coach of the Russian National Team (since 1999). The International Grandmasters A.S.Georgiyev, Ye.A.Milshina, T.M.Tansykkuzhina, the Grand Masters of Russia G.G.Georgiyeva and others are among his trainees.
