CHUDOV, Maxim Aleksandrovich (b.12.11.1982, Selo Mikhaylovka of Ufimsky Raion of the BASSR), Athlete. Merited Master of Sports (biathlon) of Russia (2008). Awarded with the Order of Peoples’ Friendship (2010), the 2nd Class Medal of Order for Merits to the Fatherland (2010). A trainee of the Specialist Children and Youth Sports Biathlon School of the Olympic Reserve (Ufa; Coach – V.A.Nikitin). Bronze Medalist of the Olympic Games (2010) in relay, the World Champion in relay (2007–08) and in sprint (2008), Winner of the World Cups (8‑times, 2006–10), Silver Medalist in pursuit (2007–09) and Bronze Medalist in mass‑start (2008) of the World Biathlon Championships. Winner (2‑times, 2006; 2012) and Silver Medalist (2‑times, 2007; 2012) of the Summer Biathlon World Championships. Winner (2‑times, 2003) of the Biathlon Junior World Championships and the Winner (3‑times, 2002–03) of the Biathlon Junior European Championships. Participant of the Olympic Games (2006). Member of the Russian National Team (2004–13).
