SHAGAPOV, Vladislav Shaikhukagzamovich (b.17.3.1948 in Selo Novokutovo of Chekmagushsky Raion of the BASSR), Mechanical Engineer. Acad. of the AS RB (2012), Dr.Sci. (Phys.‑Math.) (1989), Full Professor (1993). Laureate of the Bashkirian Komsomol Award (1978). Graduated from the MSU (1971). Since 1974 worked at BSU, since 1984 at Phys. and Maths Department. Since 1995 at the Institute of Mechanics, at the same time since 1996 at SSPA, since 2004 at Birsk branch of BSU. His research activity is dedicated to the mechanics of multi‑phase systems and mathematical modelling. He has developed the theories of acoustics and stability of boiling liquid; acoustic sounding of wells and pipelines; gas hydrate formation and decomposition in porous fluids, pipelines and water in the process of gas flushing; sclerosis of tubular furnaces, oil & gas wells and pipelines; technogenic explosions in canyons, tunnels and enclosed rooms; gas and liquid emissions propagation in the atmosphere and across the Earth surface.
