SHAGIMARDANOV, Fazyl Valiakhmetovich [1906, Derevnya Verkhnie Kigi of Zlatoustovsky Uyezd of Ufa Gub. (Kiginsky Raion of the RB) – 3.8.1968, Ufa], Soviet Communist Party and Social Activist. Graduated from the Higher School of Party Organizers under the Central Committee of the ACP(b) (Moscow, 1937). Between 1930–32, Secretary of the Burayevsky Raion Committee of the ACP(b). Since 1937, Chairman of the Council of People’s Commissars of the BASSR. In 1940, Deputy People’s Commissar of the Regional Industry of the RSFSR (Moscow). Since 1941 1st Deputy Chairman of the Kuibyshev Obl. Executive Committee, since 1944 Minister of Regional Industry of the TASSR (Kazan). Since 1946 Head of the Kuibyshev Obl. Administration of Light Industry, since 1951 Dir. of the Zlatoust Sewing Factory. Between 1953–57 Dir. of the training centre of the Bashneftezavodstroy Trust (Ufa).
