SHAIKHUTDINOV, Radzhap Yunusovich (b.7.4.1949, Ufa), Bayan Player, Teacher. Candidate of Sciences (History of Arts) (2012), Full Professor (1990). Merited Artist of the RSFSR (1985) and BASSR (1976). Graduated from the USIA (1972). Since 1971, he worked at USIA (between 1991—94 and 2000—11 as Vice‑Rector for artistic work and international relations). The performing art of Sh. is distinguished by virtuosic technique, precision of details, and emotionality.
