SHARIPOV, Akhsan Sharifgaliyevich [17.8.1927, Derevnya Chishma of Birsky Canton of the BASSR (Baltachevsky Raion of the RB) – 14.3.2004, Ufa, buried in the homeland], Industrialist. Hero of Socialist Labour (1981). Awarded with the Order of Lenin (1966, 1980), Order of the October Revolution (1976). Graduated from the All‑Union Correspondence Institute of Law (Moscow, 1957). Between 1944–50, at Iskra Kolkhoz of Baltachevsky Raion. Since 1952 in Kiginsky Raion: People’s Judge, between 1959–89 Chairman of Kolkhoz named after M.I.Kalinin. Under the leadership of Sh., the Kolkhoz achieved high production performance in the 9–11th years of the five‑year plan: between 1976–80 the average yield of grain crops amounted to 27.1 centner/ha, in 1984 – 24.1. Deputy of the 7th and 10th Sessions of the Supreme Council of the BASSR.
