YUMAGUZINSKOYE RESERVOIR
YUMAGUZINSKOYE RESERVOIR, on the Belaya River. The dam site is located in the territory of Bashkiriya National Park. Temporary operation began in 2004, permanent operation — in 2008. Catchment area of the river in the cross-section of the water development — 10,100 km2, aver. annual volume of inflow — 2,130 million m3, full volume — 600 million m3; surface area — 17.2 km2, length — 57.0 km, aver. width — 0.3 m, aver. depth — 31 m. Composition of the water development: blind stone earth dam with a core of rubble‑loam soils (length — 540 m, crest width — 10 m, max. height — 65 m); coast spillway (4 spans); bottom watershed water discharge, in the structure of which there is a tunnel (length — 294 m) to pass water into the lower pound lock, 3 tunnel water conduits to supply water to the turbines of Yumaguzinskaya Hydroelectric Power Station (3 hydrounits of total power — 45 MW).
