YANBULATOVA, Ragida Saitgaleyevna (28.12.1915, Derevnya Bakayevo 1st of Ufimsky Uyezd of Ufa Gub., now Selo Bakayevo of Kushnarenkovsky Raion of the RB, — 13.10.1997, Ufa), Actress, Poetess. People's Artist of the BASSR (1954), Merited Artist of the RSFSR (1955) and BASSR (1949). After graduating from the Bashk. Technical School of Arts (1935) and until 1976 she worked as an Actress at BSAT. Subtle lyrical talent, the gift of a singer, and plasticity enabled Ya. to create bright images, characterized by deep psychology and intensity of emotions. The actress's repertoire is also represented by dramatic and tragic images from classical foreign and Russian drama. The depth of feelings, lyricism, and melodiousness are typical for Ya.'s poetry. She is the author of such poetic collections as Air snowflakes, Familiar melodies, When guelder is blooming, a series of plays, translations of the works of Ch.T.Aitmatov, V.M.Gusev, P.Calderon, R.Tagor, etc. into the Bashkir language.
