“BASHKIR ENCYCLOPAEDIA”, universal encyclopedic edition. Prepared and released by the State autonomous institution of science of the RB Bashkir Encyclopaedia. Editor in chief – M.A.Ilgamov. B.e. provides information about the administrative structure, history, science and culture, social and political life, art, architecture, economic development, natural and climatic conditions in the RB; contains brief biographies of the people who made a significant contribution to the development of the Republic, including studying Bashkir folklore, Belarusian folklore, Mari folklore, Mordovian folklore, Russian folklore, Tatar folklore, Udmurt folklore, Ukrainian folklore, Chuvash folklore. In “B.E.” were also re flected basic genres and works of bashkir folklore. Consists of 7 volumes: vol. 1 (2005; A–Б), vol. 2 (2006; B–Ж), vol. 3 (2007; 3–K), vol. 4 (2008; Л–O), vol. 5 (2009; П–Councils), vol. 6 (2010; National Economy Councils–У), vol. 7 (2011; Ф–Я; additional articles, not included in the previous volumes, name index, bibliography). It has an electronic version (in the Bashkir and Russian languages) on the website “башкирская энциклопедия. рф”. Contains about 18 thousand articles and about 5 thousand illustrations. Based on the Russian version of B.e., the Bashkir language version was published (in 7 volumes, 2014–18).
