GALIEVA Farida Gabdulkhayevna (b. 18.12. 1962), folklorist. Doctor of Philology (2007). Her research is devoted to the ethnography and folklore of the East Slavic and Turkic peoples of the Southern Urals, in particular, the study of folklore traditions of the Russian and Bashkir in Bashkortostan in the context of intercultural interactions. Author of more than 200 research papers. One of the authors and compilers of the books “Bashkir folk art=Bashkort khalyk sengete” (2002), “Art of the Bashkir. Traditional art crafts” (2007). Collector of folklore and compiler of collections of Russian, Ukrainian, and Belorussian folklore in Bashkortostan.
