GULNAZIRA
“GULNAZIRA”, a Bashkir ethnic song, kyska-kuy. First registered by L.N. Lebedinskiy in 1938, published in the book “Bashkort khalk yirdary” by K.F. Akhmetov. It is a popu lar takmak. Bright intonation development, an original versestrophic form (verses have 3 beats to a measure, the chorus has 4 beats to a measure) make the melody special. The musical adaptation of “G.” for choir was composed by A.S. Klucharyev, for the sametitled dance – by T.S. Karimov and K.Y. Rakhimov. “G.” melody is used in “Crane song” ballet by L.B. Stepanov and Z.G. Ismagilov, in “Choreographic Suit” by Rakhimov. There is a Bashkir gamedance (mass). First it was performed on a professional stage as a part of “Bashkir collective farm dances” chorographical suit in the beginning of the 1940’s choreographed by Gaskarov, performed by Ethnic dance ensemble n.a. F. Gaskarov. “G.” is performed as an independent item for 8 and more pair of dancers since 1952. Authentic forms of the ethnic dance with constant development of dramatic action created a fully presented theatrical and choreographical picture.
