“IRENDYK”, Bashkir ethnic song, kyska-kuy. First registered by S.K. Gabyashi, published in the Bashkort khalk yirdarycollection. It is an old hunting song of a merry nature. According to one of the legends, it was compo sed by hunter and quaray player Bulgair, who was fascinated by the beauty of the ridge Irendyk. The name of the song comes from an oronym. The melody has a verse form and a small range of sounds. It can be characterized by a steady beat, rising intonation and vivid tempo. The musical adaptation of “I.” for a capella choir was made by S.K. Gabyashi, S.A. Nizametdinov, M.P. Fomenkov, and for choir and Symphonic Orchestra – by I.V. Saltykov. The melody of the song was used by M.M. Valeev in his “Khakmar” opera, by L.B. Stepanov and Z.G. Ismagilov in “Crane Song” ballet, by N.G. Sabitov in his First Concerto for violin and orchestra, by K.F.Mustayev in the dance called the same.
