ART GROUPS AND ASSOCIATIONS

ART GROUPS AND ASSOCIATIONS, the consolidation of artists basedon exhibition activities, stipulated by theunity of artistic interests, aesthetic attitudes and ideological views on art.

“Sarybiya” (“Yellow Mare”), art group.Founded in Ufa on theinitiative of N.A.Pakhomov. In the basis of the aesthetic programof the group, there is an artistic interpretation of the painting and plastic traditions ofthe Russian and European cutting‑edge artof the 1st half of the 20th century, mainlyprimitivism, cubism, and expressionism.

BRSFA (the Bashkir Republican Societyof Fine Arts), the non‑governmental organization of the teachers of children’s artschools, art training schools, colleges, higher educational institutions, etc. Founded in1990 in Ufa on the initiative of A.A.Kuznetsov.

“Genghis Khan”, an art association.Founded in 1990 on the initiative of N.S.Latfullin. Leads active artistic and exhibition activities in various regions of Russia and abroad, the organizer of the firstperformances, etc in the RB. The founder ofthe Museum of Modern Art named after N.Latfullin. Since 2005, it issued “HighlyArtistic Journal”.

“Miras” (“Legacy”), an art group.Founded in 1991 in Neftekamsk.

“Artysh” (“Juniper”), an art association.Founded in 1995 in Ufa on the initiative of R.N.Burakanov, H.H.Ismagilov, D.N.Ishemgulov, A.M.Mazitov, D.A.Suleimanov and H.S.Fazylov. The art program implies revival of national spirituality through artistic rethinking of decorative applied art, folklore, the history of Bashkirs.

“Rustam”, an art group. Founded in 1995 in Oktyabrsky. It unites sculptors, themasters of decorative‑applied art, workingin the field of monumental art and garden‑park sculpture.

The Association of the artists of the South of Bashkortostan, an artistic organization at the Union of Artists of the RB. Founded in 1996 in Salavat on the initiativeof K.G.Gubaidullin and R.R.Kadyrov. It unites the artists of Ishimbay, Kumertau,Meleuz, Salavat, Sterlitamak, Meleuzovskyand Sterlitamaksky raions.
