KHURAMSHIN, Talgat Zakirovich (1.5.1932 in Selo Ibragimovo of Chishminsky Raion of the BASSR — 3.3.2019, in Moscow), Industrialist. Hero of Socialist Labour (1971). Excellent Worker of the Healthcare Sector of the USSR (1978), Excellent Worker of Public Education of the RSFSR (1977), Inventor of the USSR (1976, 1985). Laureate of the USSR Council of Ministers Award (1974). Awarded with the Order of Lenin (1971), Order ofthe October Revolution (1975), Order ofthe Red Banner of Labour (1966, 1981).Graduated from the UPI (1964). Since1951, he worked at the Ufa Refinery. Since1956 at the Novo‑Ufimsky Refinery (since1965 as Dir.). Since 1977 Dir. of Ufa Refinery named after the 22nd Congress of the CPSU. Since 1978 Chairman of the USSR State Commission for the Provision of Petroleum Products, since 1989 at the All-Union Research and Development Institute of Oil Refining and Petrochemical Industry, since 1992 General Director, President of Bashkir House of Trade and Technology (all – in Moscow), between 1995–2002 Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the RB in Moscow. Under the leadership of H., the Novo‑Ufimsky Refinery became one of the leading companies in the petrochemical and oil refining industry. Deputy of the10th Session of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR and the 7th Session of the Supreme Council of the BASSR.
