PEOPLE’S SESEN OF BASHKIR ASSR
PEOPLE’S SESEN OF BASHKIR ASSR is an honorary title. It was given to people prominent for their improvisational achievements in art. It was established by the decree of the Supreme Council of BASSR Presidium of April 14, 1944. The Supreme Council of BASSR could assign or remove the title after the Writers Union and Bashkir RI of language, literature and history had made an offer to the candidates (see Institute of history, language and literature). It was assigned once on April 18, 1944 to M.A. Burangulov (removed in 1950, restored the title in 1959), F.D. Davletshin, S.A. Ismagilov. The award was abolished by a decree of the Supreme Council of BASSR Presidium of February 9, 1990.
