TATAR ETHNIC CULTURAL AUTONOMY i n B a s h k o r t o s t a n, a NGO established in Ufa in 2009. Since 2013, in cooperation with the Tatar Language Department of the M. Akmulla Pedagogical University, it holds the “Tukaev’s Tunes” regional reading contest. Organizes events dedicated to the lives and legacies of Tatar poets and writers, including “Days of Tukay”, “Native Tongue” International TV Festival of Tatar and Bashkir Songs, “Beauty of Nauruz” regional Tatar pageant, etc. The “Tatar Family” project has been developed as a part of the Federal Project “Strong Family”.
