“RUSSIAN CHILDREN’S FOLKLORE IN BASHKORTOSTAN”, collection of samples of Russian children’s folklore (Ufa, 2013). Compiled by I.E. Karpukhin, E.I. Karpukhina. The collection is based on the materials of the folklore archive of the Sterlitamak branch of the Bashkir State University and the personal archive of Karpukhin. The book includes various genres of children’s folklore of the 20th and 21st centuries recorded from the Russian and non-Russian (Bashkir, Belarussian, Mari, Tatar, etc.) performers on the territory of Bashkortostan. The introductory article discusses the history of the study, ideological-thematic, and genre features of children’s folklore (riddles, zaklichkas, horror stories, chastushkas, etc). The comments for the texts give information about the consultants, place, time of recording, etc. The collection also contains a dictionary of foreign language and dialect words and expressions.
