TYPOLOGY OF FOLKLORE
TYPOLOGY OF FOLKLORE is a regular universal repeatability caused by a number of factors and receiving different (typological) expressions, which is expanded over all the spheres of folklore art; is a set of features determining the repeatability and its kind (according to B.N. Putilov). Typological means can be a result of historical circumstances of 3 types in folklore of different peoples: 1) a folklore work spreads among peoples (migration typology); 2) independent art of peoples (typological similarities); 3) traditional folklore development of relative peoples in accordance with the heritage (genetic typology). T.f. is defined by the similarity (unity) of historical development of peoples, their social, cultural, every-day and psychological peculiarities as well as the unity of folklore culture in the international plan. The greater is the development of people, the clearer is the ethnic singularity in typologically similar works. T.f. in Bashkortostan is determined by genetic kinship of peoples and their inter-ethnic contacts (see National and international parts of folklore).
