UZBEK ETHNIC CULTURAL CENTER i n  B a s h k o r t o s t a n, a NGO established in Ufa in 2003. Establishes and maintains contacts with Uzbek communities in other Russian regions, and with Uzbekistan. Folk bands from Uzbekistan that performed in Ufa by invitation from the center: “Navruz” folk instruments band, “Spring”, etc. The organization participated in the 2nd (2009) and 3rd (2015) Congresses of the Bashkortostan Peoples’ Assembly, Inter-Regional Academic Workshop “Ethnic Politics and Traditional Culture” (2009), etc. In 2012, representatives of Uzbek community took part in the Festival of Ethnic Cultures “Flowers of Asia”. Annually takes part in “Nauruz” regional festival, the festival of traditional cultures of the peoples of Asia “Melodies and Rhythms of Asia” (since 2016), “Heart of Eurasia” (since 2017), etc.
