ABDRAZAKOV, Askar Amirovich (b.11.7. 1969, Ufa), Singer (bass). People’s Artist of the RB (1994). Graduated from the USIA (1994). Since 1990, he worked as a Soloist of Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theatre, simultaneously since 1995 — as a Soloist at the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia, since 2010 — the Minister of Culture of the RB, since 2011 a Soloist of the Mariinsky Theatre (St. Petersburg). A world-renowned singer, performs in plays of the leading opera houses of Europe. He possesses a voice of wide range and beautiful timbre, his performing art is characterized by bright artistry and stage presence.
